Blend of rockin' guitars, groovy and massive rhythm section, oriental and trance influences, honesty and pure rock n' roll spirit. This is what identifies Maqama.
In Oct 2009, the debut album - "Maqamat" was released, meeting high appreciation of audience and press.
in April 2012 the band released second record called “Gospel of Judas”, recorded in Poland, Los Angeles and mixed in UK by Chris Sheldon (producer for Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie, Oceansize, Foo Fighters, Garbage and others).

During "Gospel of Judas" production King's X lead singer and bass player - Doug Pinnick, joined the band at studio session in Los Angeles to put a piece of his genius and creativity into 2 Maqama's songs as a producer and bass player.

Today Maqama is still on the road. Also rumors are being heard about preparations for hitting the studio to record third album.
